About Us
​Sound F-X is a full-time, fully insured entertainment company. Established in 1988, Sound F-X has been one of Wisconsin’s premiere entertainment teams. While we have performed at many events, weddings are our favorite to entertain. Our quality will excite you, our experience will help guide you, our elegance will impress you and our dedication will move you.
The SFX Entertainers
This is where Sound F-X shines. Our experienced wedding entertainers know how to keep your reception unique, fun, energetic and entertaining. We provide a team of a two entertainers; our DJ mixes the awesome tunes and our MC keeps the energy flowing while coordinating the night. They care of everything entertainment...music, announcements, special dances and other activities. The entertainers also work with the other vendors to make sure everything on your special day is perfect.
Sound, Lighting & Video
Our sound systems are comprised of high-end pro equipment that ensure excellent quality & reliability, providing a nice clean and warm sound. With the Gold or Platinum Package, you can customized our look...choose between white or black column array speakers. Our Standard Lightshow, included with the Gold & Platinum Packages, will enhance the festive mood of your wedding and give it that extra energy that you are looking for. Consisting of moving heads, pars, strobes and lasers, the Standard Lightshow will highlight the dance floor. Up-lighting, included in the Gold and Platinum wedding packages, will add visual enhancements & stunning effects on walls. It can be customized to match your wedding colors and synced with the lightshow once the dance floor opens, adding a whole room experience .Our Video Show adds a whole other dimension to a wedding. Display your slideshow or monogram during dinner and watch your favorite music videos while dancing. Guests that are not “big” on dancing but love music can enjoy watching their favorite artists on our screens. In the heart of our video show is our custom Video DJ Booth. It’s a white DJ Booth with a built in Video Display. The Video Show is included in the Gold & Platinum Wedding Packages.
Music
Sound F-X’s music library is based on the national Billboard Music charts. We’ve got the latest hits as soon as they are made available, as well as an extensive library of hits ranging from all the decades to the present. For those who just want one type of music at their reception, we have the experience to do music themed events. We also accept and encourage requests at all our shows. A full catalogue of songs and artists we carry is available online on our website.

Online Wedding Planner
To help us plan our part of your wedding, our clients have access to our Client Portal. Here you can plan your wedding, check the details of your wedding, view your balance and contract, and make payments. When planning your wedding, our Planning Forms will give us needed information to customize your wedding to your specifications and timeline. From the Grand Introduction to the last song of the night and all the other Specialty Dances in between, the Planning Forms cover it all with easy access through your smart phone/tablet or computer. Music Requests are also managed through the Client Portal. You can preview music, add requests, view requests and print requests. And, if you choose, you can give your guests access to request songs through a guest login.
